Mark G. Hines
Mark has over twenty-five years of employee relations, labor relations and human resources experience with large consumer products companies. Much of his career has been devoted to building positive employee relations in both union and non-union environments during periods of significant organizational growth and change.
As Corporate Director of Employee and Labor Relations for the Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado he had lead responsibility for Employee/ Labor Relations and Corporate Security, and interim Human Resources responsibilities for the U.S. Supply Chain. While at Coors Mark was a member of merger and integration teams for company acquisitions and joint ventures.
Prior to Coors, Mark was Corporate Director of Employee and Labor Relations for the Rayovac Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin where he had corporate responsibility for Employee/Labor Relations, Staffing and Safety and Health, and Human Resources responsibilities for all manufacturing and distribution locations. Mark has served as chief spokesperson in over 35 sets of labor negotiations and successfully managed company campaigns in NLRB certification and de-authorization elections. Most importantly Mark understands what “good” employee relations look like and how to build a high integrity, engaged workforce.
Mark has a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Kent State University. Following graduate school Mark worked in public sector roles in both city management and labor relations and was awarded an Executive Fellowship in Labor Relations with the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Mark also completed the Advanced Human Resources Program at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
